Testing reliability and validity of the Quick Aphasia Battery (QAB) to summarize language performance in people with aphasia that can be done at bedside efficiently and effectively.

The QAB summarizes performance data on a continuum of ability and severity in different language areas rather than delineating aphasia subtypes. QAB was tested alongside WAB and yielded similar results, and demonstrates specific areas of language breakdown.
